In recent years I have tried my luck with Animation. I know the adobe suite pretty well and have been trialling techniques. I use a combination of tools and programmes depending on the design difficulty level. I am very comfortable using Photoshops animation tools however they are limited, this brought me onto developing skills to animate in After Effects using designs I created in Illustrator.  

 

My first ever animation was the '30 seconds' asset bottom left. The animation was used to 'beat the algorithm' with moving images being weighted better on most platforms in terms of reach or impressions. There was a static bookmark made using this copy and I thought I could bring it to life by animating the clock. I wanted to capture our audiences attention by breaking up the feed with a new design. I paired this asset with creative copy, researching how long an average adult uses their phone a day and almost guilting people into using a fraction of their time to help sign a petition calling for disability rights to be upheld. As seen in my disability rights projects section the campaign was extremely successful getting the attention of the United Nations and press coverage.

The second animation I have chosen to display here is a spinning globe. I developed this as part of a video I produced calling on governments to 'build back better' making policy and law inclusive for everyone.
